Onyx Graphics was established at the dawn of RIP development in 1989 and since then has dedicated itself to helping customers increase productivity, reduce costs, and gain a competitive edge with superior print and color quality. Its passion for delivering superb color led to the development of ONYX Color, Onyx Graphics’ color engine optimised specifically for large format inkjet printing. Global channel partnerships and longstanding relationships with printer manufacturers position Onyx Graphics as a market leader in powerful, reliable, large format printing workflow software.

The company offers a complete suite of RIP and workflow software from the iconic 'Postershop' RIP through to industrial-scal workflows such as Hub, Thrive and Connect. Colour control is a great strength of the ONYX software, with ICC Co-Chair Dr. Max Derhak also serving as Principal Scientist with Onyx Inc. The new International Color Consortium's 'beyond D50 colorimetry' iccMAX colour management system was driven by Dr. Derhak and his team.
