“We identified an opportunity at the beginning of COVID hitting in March,” said Phill Oliver, GM premiums & merchandising, IVE Group. “Our clients and many critical services including our armed forces, aged care workers and frontline health workers, were desperately needing hygiene and PPE solutions to help keep their people safe.

"By combining our local and offshore sourcing expertise, and integrated logistics services, we could provide a compelling solution for our clients. As we look ahead, we believe businesses will also need to adapt and evolve to the new environment we find ourselves in and this is where we can help.”

IVE Group said last month that $16.8m in Jobkeeper payments helped the company post $36.7m in profit in 2020.

Earlier this month, IVE was dragged into a political scandal after Nine Entertainment-owned Fairfax press reported the company was awarded millions of dollars in contracts by state-run workers' compensation insurer icare without all of the contracts being put to an open tender.

IVE Group services include pre-press and printing, mailing, merchandise production, stationery, posters and signage, business cards, digital printing, publication printing and freight.
