With Epson, Fujifilm Dimatix, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Memjet, Ricoh, Seiko, Toshiba Tec, Xaar and many others attending, TheIJC 2019 (29-30 October in Düsseldorf) is the meeting point of the inkjet industry.
Over 60 speakers will present their research on core inkjet technologies at the Crowne Plaza Düsseldorf. Organisers say several hundreds of developers, innovators and decision makers are expected to join the event "to peer into the future of digital printing and assess its impact on various manufacturing processes."
Inaugurated in 2014, TheIJC (The Inkjet Conference) has established itself as the focal point for learning and discussion between those who want to make global connections and share thoughts on inkjet innovation.
“Each year hundreds of participants leave the event with a head full of ideas, new partnerships and a complete technology update,” says a media release. “The conference looks at a chain of events starting with the core technology and following through the integration to the market application. Each development or evolution in the core technology is assessed against the application and the market requirements. Some core technology developments will revolutionise the application, whilst the same core technology development will be irrelevant in another market. With over 60 presentations, TheIJC covers all areas and explores the links between them.
“The event opens with plenary sessions before dividing into three tracks. The plenaries cover printhead innovation and feature the latest developments from the world’s leading manufacturers. Track One covers hardware and software; Track Two is for fluids and analysis; Track Three stages research and innovation. Delegates are free to move between tracks and are encouraged to vote for the best speakers.”
The 6th edition of TheIJC features a record total of 62 presentations with topics including things like: Streaming print data directly to printhead electronics; The JetFlow: Ink supply module for high-circulating printheads; What's new in UV LED; and Solutions to enable high image quality in inkjet printing.
The list of presenting and exhibiting companies includes: 3M, Added Scientific, Adphos, Agfa, Allnex, Amazon Filters, Archipelago Technology, Arcolor, Armor, Arranged, BYK, BASF Colors & Effects, BASF Personal Care & Nutrition, Baumer Inspection, ChemStream, Clariant, Cobetter, ColorGATE, Dantec Dynamics, DataPhysics, Digital Direct, Dr. Hoenle, DSM, DuPont Advanced Printing, Encres Dubuit, Epson, Evonik, Formulaction, Fraunhofer ENAS, Fujifilm Dimatix, Fujifilm Imaging Colorants, Gardner Denver Thomas, Global Graphics, Global Inkjet Systems, Hahn-Schickard-Gesellschaft, Hamamatsu, Hapa, Heraeus, ImageXpert, Industrial Inkjet, Integration Technology, Inuru, iPrint, Kao Collins, KIWO, KNF, Kodak, Krüss, Kyocera, Lambda Technology, Lubrizol, Marabu, Megnajet, Memjet, Meteor Inkjet, Nazdar, Netzsch, Notion Systems, NTS Group, OIKE, Pall, Phoseon, Print-Rite, Rex-Tone, Ricoh, Rochester Institute of Technology, ROKI, Seiko Instruments, Siegwerk, Smithers, Soliton, Sun Chemical, Tiger Coatings, Toshiba Tec, Toyo Ink, Trijet, UMS, University of Cambridge, Ushio, VKT and Xaar.
