“It was my first time visiting Australia and New Zealand and I had a great experience,” says German-based Avery Dennison specialist trainer Rainer Lorz, aka The Car Wrap Trainer, who’s just completed six sold-out workshops across the ANZ region.

The workshops in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland were tailored to enhance knowledge among experienced vehicle wrap installers of Avery Dennison’s paint protection film, Supreme Protection Film SPF-XI.
“Avery Dennison shares the passion of the professionals in the vehicle wrap installation community and we are excited to lead the path towards high quality education in this field,” says Jordan Leach, senior business manager, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions in Australia and New Zealand. “In this recent series workshops, we were proud to have Rainer Lorz lead our brand new series of workshops for a truly unique and inspiring experience.”

Lorz, who has over 15 years’ experience in installing Paint Protection Film (PPF), Window Tint and Traditional Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) films, is one of a select few in the industry to become a member of the MOB (Masters of Branding). He’s also part of the Paint is Dead network and is often seen in videos on The Wrap Institute.
“Special thanks to Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions Australia and New Zealand team consisting of Peter Wright and Theo Kostarakis for helping to make this happen,” Lorz says. “Also to Nick Caminiti (Exotic Graphix, Victoria), Michael Palladino (Auto Artisan, New South Wales), David Wright (The Wrap Shop, Auckland), and our distribution partners. I'm looking forward to when I can return to Australia and New Zealand again to visit my new friends. Hope to be back in 2020!”

The workshop provided hands-on application training in the use and installation of the Avery Dennison SPF-XI Supreme Protection Film, a high-quality thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) that has a self-healing top coat designed to protect paintwork from weathering, as well as insect stains, stone chips and road debris.
Attendees received an extensive applicators pack with essential tools and were awarded an Avery Dennison Certificate of Completion.
