Kornit Digital has announced details of its participation in Heimtextil 2016. Kornit will present actual furniture samples that were produced with fabrics from its roll-to-roll system Allegro, based on designs from Turnowsky, a fashion-led and trend-conscious international design house.

Kornit Digital’s presence in Hall 4.0, booth D25, will feature various exhibits created from Turnowsky’s ‘Flowers of Grace’ portfolio, designed exclusively by the brand’s Creative Director, Ira Avezov. The current generation of ‘Flowers of Grace’, developed especially for Kornit Digital, introduces realistic images as an integral part of the design, for the very first time.

“In Turnowsky, we know how to design. But no matter how good your idea is, you need the ability to turn it into something – a beautiful dress, a scarf, a piece of furniture,” says Ira Avezov. “The unique colour gamut and flexibility of the Kornit Allegro allow this transformation, with no compromise in the design quality. It is an amazing ability which we will continue to explore.”
The Kornit Allegro is the only true digital solution for textile printing. Its unique one-step process combined with the impressive colour gamut of Kornit's NeoPigmentTM inks represents a real opportunity for textile designers and enables them to control their prints and colors while offering their customers short runs and customization.

Unlike with alternative digital production technologies, the need for all external process steps, such as pre-treatment and post treatment, have been removed with the Kornit Allegro. With textile production now available in a completely dry single step solution, digital fabric printing is returning to western countries as all former issues, such as end-to-end costs, pollution, regulations, health and safety, and space can be addressed.
“Kornit Digital looks forward to Heimtextil 2016 which is one of the most significant platforms for us to meet manufacturers, retailers and designers from all around the world,” stated Guy Zimmerman, Kornit Digital’s Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. “Kornit’s Allegro brings new business opportunities to the home textile industry. It is a true stand-alone roll-to-roll system that prints direct onto a broad variety of fabrics with vivid results, accurate colors, an excellent hand and good durability. It is particularly suitable for the production of special collections and all applications that require fast turnaround times.”
Heimtextil, which takes place in Frankfurt, Germany, from 12 to 15 January 2016, is the world’s leading exhibition for textile and garment manufacturing.
