The purchase of SLS by AFI Branding Solutions is an exciting move for the soft signage industry, particularly with the growing need to meet increasingly demanding deadlines and complex designs.

AFI BrandingSLS has been closely associated with AFI for the past 5 years as our key aluminium fabrication and custom made supplier so to bring the relationship ‘in house’ as it were, means that our clients are the key beneficiaries, and the wider market too,” he goes on to say.

Nick Bolitho, former MD of SLS will be heading up AFI Fabrications and will also lend his considerable experience and expertise from years in the major event industry, both here and abroad, to a specialised unit of AFI recently launched at an industry tradeshow, AFI Bespoke.

“AFI Fabrications and AFI Bespoke are two of the most exciting initiatives for the soft signage market in Australia as it makes the magic of fabric architecture a real cutting edge initiative and a tangible reality,” says Nick. “We have clients and major event and promotions professionals who are as excited about the possibilities of working with fabric and aluminium in a truly unique and creative way, as we are”.

The integration of the two companies and the development of new initiatives and products will take place as a priority in the coming months and will enhance both the products and service that AFI’s clients have come to know and expect, but with a new drive toward really pushing the creative and innovation envelope.
