Outdoor advertising industry revenue continues to rise
Total revenue for the US outdoor advertising industry grew 8% in the first quarter of 2007 compared to the same period last year. The revenue figures are collected in aggregate each month by certified public accountants and used by the Outdoor Advertising Association of America, in combination with other sources, to release industry revenue information on a quarterly basis.

Fujifilm Sericol have announced the launch of the new Acuity HD 2504, due in Australia in mid year

Digital textile printing driven by signage and now expanding into new areas
A new report by IT Strategies shows huge growth for textile printers. The report states, the digital printing of textiles has been going on since the mid 90s with electrostatic (e-stat) and inkjet printers, either by direct printing (in the case of inkjet) and via dye sublimation transfer (inkjet and e-stat). Today advances in inkjet printers, e.g., direct to fabric sublimation printers, combined with growth in textile applications such as soft signage and apparel are driving the market for digital textile printing.
