Xaar, has announced the Xaar 5501, a new addition to its portfolio of aqueous printheads. Previewing on Xaar’s stand at Ceramics China and available later this year, the compact and lightweight Xaar 5501 complements the existing Xaar 1201 and Xaar 5601, and provides OEMs looking for an aqueous printhead from Xaar with a wider choice.

David Crowther’s Colour Graphic Services enjoyed its best PacPrint ever thanks to its intense focus on colour management and two visiting Techkon executives, Albin Baranauskas and Corinne Pèregaud. Baranauskas also presented one of the workshops, on efficient use of spectrophotomenters.

The new JFX200-2531 was on show at PacPrint 2017 and was eagerly demonstrated by Mimaki staff. The smaller JFX200-2513 flatbed printer has sold well in Australia according to Brad Creighton, National Sales and Marketing Manager for Mimaki Australia and he expects many of those customers may wish to upgrade to the newer, bigger model.
