SignARama Joondalup franchisee adds yet another feather to its cap with recognition from the Franchise Council of Australia (FCA) for its continued efforts to attain overall efficiency and rapid business growth.
SignARama Joondalup has every reason to celebrate and have made the SignARama team proud once again. Franchises Craig Mason, Shane Craig, and Richard Angerson, in a major boost for their signage business and the franchise as a whole, recently won the Franchise Council of Australia (FCA)

National Franchisee of the Year award (two or more staff category). The prestigious award was in recognition of their unprecedented double-digit growth. Since its inception in 2000, the Joondalup franchisee has won several awards to their credit and was also inducted into the SignARama Hall of Fame in 2010.
The FCA award presented to Craig Mason and his team came despite stiff competition from other bigwigs in the franchise industry which includes Mortgage Choice, Mr. Rentals, and Hudsons Coffee. The award also provides great impetus for the SignARama brand and the Joondalup franchisee’s commitment to excellence. Evan Foster, Group National Director said, “I’ve been fortunate to watch the development of this business up close, and to see the way that Craig and team have been prepared to do whatever it takes, listen to advice, act on it, and be recognised as leaders within their community and our franchise.”
Among the major factors that influenced the FCA’s decision to select the SignARama Joondalup franchise was their continued effort to improve overall efficiency in sales and production. The team registered a growth of 27% in 2011 and also spearheaded a campaign to implement cloud computing at their facility to allow for a paperless operation. Their efforts helped them receive Level 2 Green Stamp Accreditation, the first signage business to receive certification in Australia. The Joondalup store uses the latest sign making technology for the production of a broad range of signage products and services in Perth. According to Craig Mason and his partners, much of their success comes from the commitment and hard work from all the staff involved.
For SignARama Joondalup, winning awards has become a habit. At the 2010 ECU North West Metro Small Business Awards in Perth, they were honoured with the 2010 Franchise Business of the Year award.
