Partnership results in continued success of APPE based workflows for commercial and for wide-format printers.

Today Agfa Graphics announced that its Adobe Gold Solution Partner appointment has been extended and that it continues to be a member of the Adobe Partner Connection. With this designation, Agfa Graphics and its workflow software development team clearly confirm that Adobe Systems Incorporated is a strategic technology partner for its current and future software portfolio. Both the Apogee and Asanti workflow software teams will benefit from this alliance and gain access to additional resources and support from the Adobe teams.
“In the end our customers will benefit most,” said Andy Grant, Global Head of Software, Agfa Graphics. “The alliance which we joined more than twenty years ago now – even before PDF was introduced – allows us to share expertise and exchange experiences about trends in our industry such as workflows for sign and display producers with integrated web-to-print solutions.”

“Adobe is excited to have Agfa Graphics as a continued and very active Gold member of the partner program,” said Raman Nagpal, Senior Director, Print and Scan Business at Adobe. “We look forward to continuing this relationship and to creating new and exciting solutions for our common customers.”

Agfa Graphics benefits from a multi-years relationship with Adobe and boasts an enormous number of APPE based systems installed worldwide. Newest developments are Apogee in commercial prepress environments and the recent introduction of Asanti with APPE 3.0, dedicated to wide-format printers to integrate wide format workflows from web-to-print up to finishing activities.
