AVS recently sent members of their team, Phil Baumert (WA), Mitchell Coleman, Nigel Hulm, and Julian Bowdler (QLD) and our national sales manager James Farmer from Victoria to visit the manufacturing facility of Roland DG in Thailand.

The team earned their spot due to their successful sales results over the course of the year. The trip was designed as a study tour to allow the reps to gain a stronger understanding of how the manufacturing department of Roland DG operates. The team were able to see the boys in thailand rolandprint and cut machines, the VersaCAMM VSi series being produced along with the new RF-640/640A and RT-640.

The factory has recently doubled its manufacturing capacity after only 2 years, and is now expecting to produce over 12000 products per year.

Cameron Sutherland, CEO of AVS said that the visit demonstrates the company’s commitment to keep AVS ahead amongst their many competitors.

AVS has won the Roland DG Dealer of the year award many years in a row and plan on maintaining this title. We would like to thank our hosts at Roland DG in Thailand Akira Suzaki who is the President of Roland DG in Thailand and Vice President Chuchat Sohmanee for their hospitality.
