ASGA have released the following information regarding the climax of this competition.

The event will start at 9am with a half hour preparation period and the Wrap proper begins at 9.30am. Judges will be available to answer any questions from 8.30am  and official photos will be taken at that time. There will also be photos at the conclusion of the event....teams alone, together and with event sponsors. The winning team will be announced at the ASGA Awards Dinner.
On Thursday, the Trans Tasman event will have its preparation period at 9.30am with the Wrap proper beginning at 10am. The same process with judges (one from ASGA and one from NZSDA)  and with team pics will take place.
 
Listed below are all the details provided before each State final held earlier in the year and they remain the same.
 
VEHICLES:                    Falcons XR 6 – current model with no spoiler

AVS one of the Gold Sponsors will provide:

•        Event signage highlighting GOLD sponsors – AVS; Roland DG Australia; 3M and other sponsors – EcoLease; Yellotools; Corel; Knifeless Tech Systems – with Event Partners: Image Magazines; VI Magazine; Wide Format On-Line
•         5   witches’ hats; 1 time clock
•        AVS will provide EACH team with 2 extension leads, 2 heat guns and an application kit (knives, applicators, YelloTools, magnets, etc) for use during the comp.  As per the rules, competitors can use these or their own tools (personal choice).  AVS tools to be returned after the comp (or get an invoice for them).  Knifeless tape, cleaning/prep solutions, cleaning cloths and masking tape will be supplied by AVS.
•        ALSO we need to ensure plenty of drinking water,  first aid kit and  maybe some towels on hand for competitors during comp.
•        Competitors will get their artwork by email  a week  before the event.

8.30am:  Informal chat with the Judges and Team photos taken
8.55am:  Barrier Draw (competing teams allocated to a vehicle)
9.00am:  Teams begin preparation period
9.30am:  EVENT BEGINS

RULES & JUDGING:    Judges will discuss and decide PRIOR to the comp beginning, details such as handles, mirrors & etc. (as in whether they form part of the wrap or not), and also determine penalties.  Any information decided will be articulated to the teams prior to the 9am start time.
NOTE:   some items (handles, spoiler etc) may have been removed from the vehicles prior to 8.30am by the vehicle supplier sponsor.
 
PRIZES:                      The national winner will be announced at the ASGA Awards Presentation Dinner that night.
