The only minor inconvenience caused by the downpour that hit Sydney about an hour before FESPA Australia’s second social event of the year kicked off, at the historic Sydney Rowing Club, was the need to move the event inside under cover, but that did little to dampen the spirits of those who attended the event.
Nigel Davies, President FESPA Australia, took the opportunity to offer his thanks to FESPA Australia’s outgoing Vice President, David Asker, a long-term board member who has been an integral part of building the FESPA Australia Association over the past five years. Davies paid tribute to Asker's leadership and tireless efforts behind the scenes as a key orchestrator of the various FESPA events. Also recognised was Jane Docherty, FESPA Membership Manager who announced that she will be retiring in the next few months. "Jane has done an extraordinary job of running our events and building our membership to the level it is today and she will be sorely missed," said Davies
FESPA Global Print Expo, scheduled for 19th to 22nd May at Fira de Barcelona, is Europe’s leading exhibition for the print and signage industry and this year the event will run alongside the European Sign Expo 2026, Personalisation Experience 2026, WrapFest 2026, Textile 2026 and Corrugated 2026.
