Jetmark showed off their biggest machine yet from ColorJet India at last week's VI show in Sydney. ColorJet themselves describe the Vulcan as empowered with V8 technology, combining print quality, smart memory utilisation, speedy communication with advance cabling system, and thermal design technology. It also offers benefits of multitasking and multithreading to speed up printing operations, thus, maximising productivity.

According to company sources, the inkjet printer is equipped with an advanced industrial head with great expanding capability that enormously enhance productivity and profitability. It can print at speeds of up to 120m/hr and is a complete solution, offering white printing, flexi layer technologies and a LED light box system.

Additionally, the Vulcan offers advanced motorised carriage height adjustment, automatic ink regulator, LED lamps, advance plasma anti-static device, high-tech vacuum system, pneumatic press rubber roller, reinforced beams, and carriage safety sensor features.
The printer is loaded with an eco-cooling system, in which the water cooling system is embedded and thereby maintaining printing temperature and removing media wrinkle to ensure high quality prints. At the same time, the dual-roll option enables customers to install two or more rolls one after another. This helps execute multiple jobs simultaneously and also enhances the efficiency of the printer on smaller media.
Local distributor, Jetmark state that the Vulcan provides grand format printing on an array of media types while being more environmental and ecologically friendly. It features new multi-layer technology which allows pre-white, post-white or sandwich white options, the Vulcan opens up new production opportunities.
Printing at up to 1800dpi in 3.2m form and up to an incredible 2400dpi in 5m form, the Vulcan comes with an impressive array of features making it a truly remarkable production force. Empowered with V8 performance technology, the Vulcan harnesses productivity advantages by combining smart memory, thermal design and print quality technologies with advanced multi-tasking and multi-threading capabilities. The Vulcan’s fast firing Industrial Heads are especially designed for UV ink, using anti-blocking and automatic bubble cleaning technology which reduces nozzle blockages to maintain high quality continuous printing.
The advanced long-life LED lamps ensure less down-time and lower running costs with the added environmental benefits derived from the removal of mercury and ozone gases used in conventional lamps. What’s more, with reduced running costs with realistic ink prices and with unbelievable servicing arrangements, the Vulcan from Colorjet looks amazing from every perspective.
Stephen Cumming, Marketing Manager at Jetmark said that much interest was shown in the Vulcan at the show and they expect several orders coming in during the next few months.
