The optional Automated Depth Control (ADC) simplifies tool, knife or bit changes significantly by means of accurate measurement.

The ADC, designed for the F Series flatbed system, measures the tip of the knife or bit with precision and sets the down position of the tool to the level of the table.
Summa F series cutterThe renowned Summa F Series represent highly flexible and durable machines, suitable to handle all kinds of material, such as plastics and cardboards, foam boards, PVC, acrylic, wood, aluminium covered boards, banners and textiles. Different kinds of tools can be mounted on the F Series in order to cut this wide gamut of materials. The ADC is the perfect aid for the operator to process each job within a shorter period of time with utmost precision.
Summa’s marketing and development manager, Geert Pierloot, explained, 'User-friendliness has always been a major asset of our machines. With the F Series, Summa improves the access to digital finishing on the flatbed table for a wider audience. The ADC facilitates configuring the machine even more, so several jobs can be finished within a shorter timeframe. We guarantee fast adoption of the ADC both as an add-on tool for existing Summa tables as well as inclusion in the sale of new tables. This confirms the excellent design of the machine, which is the basis of the sales success of the Summa F Series.'
The ADC is integrated in the side covers of the table. Once installed and calibrated, it is permanently available and doesn’t need to be removed after usage. The ADC is available for all F Series units and can be used for all tools of the tangential module (Kiss-Cut, Cut Out, EOT, POT, Creasing Wheels and V-Cut tools), the rotary module and the routing module.
