FESPA are reporting that Avery Dennison RBIS (Retail, Branding and Business Solutions) has announced a strategic partnership and joint venture with Ningbo Shenzhou Knitting Co.

One of Avery Dennison RBIS's key offerings is their advanced RFID use, supporting retailers throughout the manufacture to retail process. The partnership - which will take physical with new facilities in China with the vertically integrated Ningbo Shenzhou - will offer both companies significant new opportunities.
The partnership, a first of its kind in apparel manufacturing, will facilitate heat transfer innovations in order to better serve leading global brands. Based in Westborough, Massachusetts, Avery Dennison RBIS responsibly serves the global marketplace with operations in 115 locations, 50 countries, across 6 continents, and while Ningbo Shenzhou's footprint is more compact, its 30,000 staff in China will add a considerable pool of manufacturing talent to Avery Dennison's global production capacity.
