Three fundamental ACM product grades are available:
•    ImageBond is the premium quality grade of ACM with a 0.3mm aluminium surface skin, specifically developed for digital printing and 3D fabrication applications. It provides outstanding stiffness whilst still maintaining a light weight.
•    ImageBond lite is a lighter weight range of ACM and has a 0.21mm aluminium surface skin.  This grade is specifically developed for digital printing, flat and some 3D applications.
•    ImageBond ultralite is a quality economy ACM for digital printing flat applications and has a 0.15mm aluminium surface skin.

Typical applications and areas of end-use for the ImageBond range include: POP displays, trade show booths, shop fitting, furniture, signage (3D, 2D and flat), shop fronts, hoardings, wall coverings, art prints and much more.

ImageBond is manufactured to exacting standards specified by Spandex, is fully compliant with REACH and RoHS legislations and is FR rated with EN13501 certification. Alex McClelland, Managing Director and VP of Spandex Asia Pacific says: “This move into aluminium composite materials is very important for both Spandex and our customers, both in Australia and internationally. It represents the missing link in our recently released portfolio of non-metallic rigid materials. We researched the market and understood that quality, availability, safety, consistency and support are all vital, so ImageBond was developed to deliver on these requirements and more, such as flatness and ability to be cut, routed and printed.”

ImageBond and ImageBond lite come with a 5-year warranty while ImageBond ultralite offers a 3 year-warranty. ImageBond uses a high quality paint coating from leading global surface coating manufacturers, to provide strong resistance to weathering and corrosion, while still featuring excellent printing properties.

“Every aspect of production has been considered to ensure that ImageBond consistently provides the best results for our customers,” says McClelland, adding:
“Spandex also offers consultancy to specifiers of project work, where dedicated production runs of ImageBond are manufactured for matched colours, custom surface finishes and special sizes, including two-metre wide panels.”
