Starleaton’s popular FSC-certified eco-friendly white sign & display board, formerly known as Enviroboard MR, has undergone a name change to Converd Board and along with it, a substantial price reduction.

“The change in name is primarily to avoid confusion with other products in the market,” says Starleaton General Manager Ben Eaton, “Converd Board is quite unique because it is manufactured from 10% post-consumer waste and 90% FSC-certified sustainable fibre. As a 100% laminated paper board with a micro-corrugated core using water-based adhesive, it can be recycled in normal processes after use, rather than incinerated which is the case with most foam-based boards.”

3mm thick Converd Board is available in 1220 x 2260mm and 1125 x 3050mm sheet sizes and 5mm thick Converboard comes in 1220 x 2260mm sheets.

“Converd Board is very smooth, white and prints beautifully on UV flatbed machines or conventional screen-print. It is the greenest sign board available but with our new pricing, costs less than many non-green boards and is competitive with foamboards and even coreflutes,” says Eaton.

Converd Board is manufactured under strict environmental guidelines in the USA and stocks are available from all Starleaton branches.
