New TL4547 LED cured UV inkjet printer from PDA.
Thursday, 22 July 2010 17:21

PDA are pleased to announce the New TL4547 LED cured UV Inkjet Printer.

Keith Scott of PDA said that the unit is small enough to fit on a bench but tough enough to print all day at super resolution and precision. It has a maximum print area of 450 x 470mm and can print at variable resolutions up to 1200 x 900 dpi with CMYK and optional white ink.

Built to last with rugged industrial components, the TL4547 is the latest generation of UV-LED inkjet printer combining PDA's industry experience with American R&D and manufacturing quality.

Equipped with industrial high-resolution grey scale 7pl DOD piezo electric printheads, the printer delivers vivid colours and super fine details whilst working seamlessly with our professional ColorPRINT RIP.

With rapid LED curing UV inks and without the need to use lamps, the TL4547 efficiently satisfies the need for short run on-demand printing.

The TL4547 is ideal for industrial machine panel or package prototyping,  personalised souvenirs, full colour customised gifts, trophies and any special promotional materials.

LED technology is superior to conventional UV curing in that it is an earth friendly solution with no mercury, no ozone, no UVC rays, and no risk of bulbs breaking.

LED technology also has significant advantages in energy usage; reduced heat load to the substrate; far longer life cycle for consistent print quality; instant On/Off capability so users can start printing immediately after starting up the UV-LED printer.
